We started this journey in September 2022, in a very busy phase from a work point of view: to manage the emergency and the planning we felt the need to intervene in some way.
We got to know Leanbet through mutual contacts, and so we started a journey that led to important changes. Also because we are a professional firm, and Kaizen applied to professional firms is not something you find every day. So for us it was a bit of a gamble. One aspect that was particularly appreciated was Leanbet's ability to manage resistance to change, allowing a smooth transition to new working methods.
I liked Leanbet's intervention because it involves both the hard aspects (concrete activities on production processes but not only) and the soft ones: it's about putting together a group and coordinating it, so the person, the psychological-relational aspect, is also at the center. In the plant, we are starting to see the results in the weekly productivity trends. The roles are increasingly clear and better assigned. I find that people are more involved and motivated to improve. We are now 80-90 people, and I have to dedicate myself more to the company strategy. We want to bring the same method to sales, to the technical department and to another plant.

There was an initial analysis phase based on the company's medium-term objective, that of entering the market with slightly different focuses than those we are used to, for which it is necessary to introduce methodologies and a culture of standardization different from the company's history. I consider Leanbet a company absolutely suited to change paths, especially starting from the operational part, from the place where value is generated. We started in 2022 with a specific construction site in one of the production lines, one of those designated to be the beginning of a sort of cultural change, with a focus on renewable energy, especially wind power. On the positive side, I have seen that change is possible. It is a job that starts with people, then the benefits arrive to the product process and the company's economic indices.

We started out as a typical small business with about ten employees, and as we grew we ended up employing about forty people. As we grew, we realized that the processes that were working well at the beginning were no longer suitable for a company that was starting to have a certain specific weight.
We asked Leanbet to help us not only structure all the processes, but also to encourage people to overcome habits: you have to consider that there is always an alternative way to do things and be open to questioning what you have always done. In Emodial, thanks to Leanbet, we have created 200 standards and launched more than 1,300 Pdca. These tools have transformed know-how from individual knowledge to corporate heritage, not to mention the support for the development of new markets, including those of the former Yugoslavia.
